Concerning both TOEI-original creations, they are widely considered low-points of the Dragon Ball anime but my question is, which one do you think is worse? Personally, I'd go with GT. At least with the Garlic Jr. Saga, it tried to establish a coherent story line (despite the story not being very good) and someone other than Goku could actually make a difference whereas GT's was just an excuse to milk the Dragon Ball franchise even more. Not only that, the fighting was better because it actually resembles the style of fighting in the series instead of just spamming Kamehameha at anything that moves. The only thing I can say GT has over the Garlic Jr. Saga is in the animation department but that's not saying a whole lot. Oh and the soundtrack (Japanese version only because the soundtrack FUNimation used for their dub of GT was a steaming pile of *****). Edited by DBZAOTA482, Oct 21 2012, 01:01 AM.

I think it depends on the episode of GT. On average I'd say GT is worse, but GT has episodes (especially episode 63) that is on par with some of DBZ's best imo. |

I agree with this. Some of GT's episodes were really entertaining, while some were just..."lemme skip this one." |

Ima gonna say GT was. At least when I watched Garlic Jr Saga I wasn't constantly saying "what the f**k are you doing!!!". Sure GT had a few parts with 'merit', but as a whole it was just a giant sack of s**t IMO. |

Garlic Jr saga. Just completely disinterested me. GT had some good points. |

Garlic Junior saga. It really just seemed... Out of place. Something far better could have gone in its place. Hell, maybe even something about Goku's travels. |

To me the garlic junior saga didn't feel right. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I just really did not like it. |

Honestly I love the Buu saga. I know it has a lot of flaws, but I think I just love it because it was the first saga I watched as a kid, and I loved SSJ 3. Lol |

Honestly GT. I don't get why Goku even became a kid. It feels like it isn't even Goku. Like a point in time he was like" I lost, sorry to let everyone down". Like Wtf. Goku doesn't give up! |
Best sayains are Broly, Bardock, and Vegeta. ![]() ![]()

How about a BELLY BLAST! Epic contradictions The corniest one liners second only to android saga's burnt toast. Seriously, if I fought Garlic Jr, I think I'd die from all the baseball puns he made. And where the hell was Vegeta in all of this? Edited by Pylons, Oct 27 2012, 12:23 AM.

Couldn't he have sensed the power levels from earth though? And if he did, wouldn't he have rushed to earth thinking Goku had returned? |

Gt is FAR worse. I liked the Garlic Jr. Saga. As filler goes, it wasn't bad at all. It was good in how short it was too. And where was Vegeta? Only saying one of the coolest lines in all of history. |

the only good thing about jr saga was piccolo and his badassness gt like mentioned before had some high and low points like ssj 4 and some decent story from time to time but garlic Jr as a whole was a piece of ***** and gt was mostly a piece of ***** with some cool things |
